Business overview

Home care support

Quality Assured Care Services was founded with a real desire to improve lives. We believe that everybody has their own idea about what good care is, and as professionals in this field, we strive to maintain a level of excellence that we can be proud of. However, where we differ from many is that our idea of ‘good care’ has a strong focus on what the client feels is right for them (‘person-centred’), alongside their personal needs.

Many people feel uncomfortable in asking for help and support because they fear that their life will change beyond recognition. We believe that this does not always have to be the case. For us, ‘care at home’ means exactly the opposite – it’s about maintaining your freedom and independence, YOUR way of life, while giving you the help and support you need. Enabling you to stay in your own home and live the life you choose, the life you love, is what Q.A.C.S is all about.

All of our staff are DBS checked, giving you peace of mind about who is coming into your home. We also carefully vet all staff and make sure we only employ fully trained and experienced staff who can fit into any professional care network which may already be in place, for instance doctors, social workers etc. In addition to this, we carry out regular Safeguarding and Infection Control training sessions. Our staff can also work with family to keep them informed and reassured.

We are fully committed to maintaining the very highest of standards and as such we are fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. CQC ensure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

Caring, Friendly and Trustworthy

Mother and sister have been housebound for many years and it was essential that we found a Carer who would not only undertake the essentials but also go the extra mile in establishing trust and friendship - the latter being essential in the current environment.
In addition to providing great care QAC's work as a team liaising effectively in all matters from weekly rotes to communicating concerns.
Prior to engaging QAC's my sister in particular had become withdrawn and generally disinterested however these days she always has something to talk about and treats the cares as an extension to the family.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend QAC's for the quality of the package they offer and the professionalism of the carers - above all it is worth noting that throughout the current pandemic the have not missed one appointment which is a measure of service excellence in itself.
Many thanks to you all.

Very Special Experience

5
I have myself worked in the care profession for most of my life, because of this I was very anxious to have carers in my home 3 x daily. But the reality of this was amazing. I am so filled with gratitude to this group of truly wonderful people, they were all so kind, loving, caring and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble and they stayed as long as was necessary. They moved mountains in order to get my partner out of hospital quickly to die in his own home. I will never forget the determination and love that went into creating the perfect package of care. They were my real life angels that helped us both at a real challenging time.

Not Good!!

1
Since working here I thought it was great but down the line I haven't liked it that much. not getting the support I needed because of that I got stressed of not getting support from them. clients I have are lovely nothing wrong with them. its the staff some of them, they don't really know what confidential is because I found out my client knew something about me. I only told my boss and supervisor, was not happy. Pay is not good £8.45 per hr but that's only when you are with clients for 30mins and the rest is 25p per mile so if you were to have 7 clients for 30mins each so that 7hrs a day you will only get paid that £8.45 for that 4.5hr you are with them and the rest of it you are driving house to house 25p. I only get about 500 to 600 a month got to pay bills and others I cant live off that. asked for more hrs but nope. NOT GOOD!!

Testimonials

nick smith

Quality Care looked after our father for 3 years , we can only give our thanks to the excellent care that he received from all the carers. He always felt secure with the care he received and the carers were more like to family to him. He had pulmonary fibrosis and knew it was a life limiting condition but at all times his choices and decisions regarding his care were always discussed with him . He was treated with kindness and respect. Thank you.
