Our Salon was founded by Sara Purdy and Gabriella Power in December 2005 and has established a great reputation for the best in hair and beauty in the area. We are passionate about what we do and would love to meet you for a consultation.

Very happy

Hadnt been to a hairdressers for years,my hair was in bad condition from home dying it was long , yellow n like wire, thanks to purdy n power its now a graduated bob beautifully cut a lovely colour and in lovely condition, will definately be a regular customer they are amazing

SO PLEASED

Maryanne is a senior hairstylist, her Instagram doesn’t do her page justice. She got my long, ratty and oddly coloured hair sorted. It’s smooth, still long and coloured beautiful. Never tangles. So so many compliments on my hair since. Won’t go to anyone else now. She’s so polite, kind and knowledgeable. If possible she should get a raise. Loves her job, loves the salon and does them more then proud.

Poor

I am local but had not been here before, a friend of mine bought me a voucher for Christmas last year so I booked and went last weekend for a manicure.
I could not fault the beautician that carried out the treatment, very sweet and chatty however the manicure sadly was very poor.
The gel varnish was applied unevenly, it was not near tot he cuticle therefore looking grown out already, my nails were not filed in to any shape, I had to pull cotton wool out of the gel varnish after and sadly the day after one chipped and two days later one peeled off completely. I have not carried out any manual work in these days and was very disappointing with the look, let alone the rapid chipping. From this I e-mailed the salon via their website as no direct e-mail was available and I have had no reply.

really friendly.

The team at Purdy and Power are helpful, skilled and really friendly. Whether I need a cut and blow dry, to have my nails done, or to top up my tan for winter, they are my go-to salon.
