Promedica24 North Yorkshire & Lancashire

Promedica are a very good organisation very helpful especially at the less comllex levels of care, which we have experienced. Any problems have been resolved quickly and most the carers provided were experienced and good quality, those that did not meet the mark were replace with the minimum of fuss.

My initial meeting and experience was very positive. My dad has now been at home for about 3 months and is settled. His first carer was really lovely and quickly became part of the family. I would have liked her to stay longer but its generally 2 months and then there's a changeover. Overall I'm happy and so is dad.

After going into a diabetic coma my sister came through against the odds, unfortunately this left her with a brain injury which added to other health issues including type one diabetes. After a long stay in a specialist brain injury unit she was put into a care home until we could find careers for her so she could go home and live as normal a life as possible. Promedica24 were found with the help of social services and what a fantastic job they did looking after her, one career in particular my sister got on very well with and she came on in leaps and bounds. My sister is now virtually self sufficient, she self medicates, cooks, can look after herself and do all the household chores, I don’t think this would have been possible without the help she received form Promedica24. Dee who was the regional manager along with Gary did all that was possible to ensure my sister had the care she needed, Good company with great people working for them.

The service has been fine. The occasional issues have been sorted out quickly and with no fuss. The Carers have been very good, providing care with dignity. Staff and management excellent. The service represents good value for money. I’m happy to recommend Promedica 24 for live in care.
