Professional Maths Tuition

We are a group of Maths student at the University of Leeds previously employed by “EducateFirst”, who was voted as one of the top 3 private tutors in West Yorkshire in 2020. Working for this company, and at Dixons City Academy (as a Teaching Assistant) has provided us with expertise in teaching GCSE & A-level Maths - it has also meant we have a DBS certification for teaching. All of our students have either achieved or surpassed their target grades.

All of our tutors achieved a "Grade 9" in the new GCSE Maths curriculum, and an "A*" in the new A-level Maths syllabus, so we know what it takes to reach the top marks - we make sure to share the resources which helped exponentiate our knowledge in Maths with our students. Also, we integrate exam questions into every lesson for our students because we believe the best way to learn Maths is to employ an active hands-on approach; to solve Math problems! We have been told my approach to teaching is fun, enjoyable, and easy-to-understand. We take time in the first lesson to grasp the learning style of the student to tailor future lessons to their utmost benefit. When teaching a topic, we make sure to cover every point in the specification, so our students are best-equipped for exam success!
