Excellent job

I had Karl clean my roof and come back to put a dry ridge system in.
Unfortunately some of the tiles broke and he had to go off in the rain and dark to find replacements at 5pm in the evening.
We had verbally agreed for him to remove the debris of some ivy which wasn’t on the written quote and this had proved to be difficult to get to.
I had thought here we go I should have got this in writing but Karl surprised me when he said that if the neighbor would let him put his cherry picker on their drive he could get to it.
Having spoke to next door it turns out they were very impressed with him as when he’d cleaned my roof he’d made a mess on their windows and gave them £30 cash to get them re cleaned.
Ive learned my lesson that you need to get everything in writing but there are also still people with integrity.

Be carefull what yoiu ask for- check and make sure this vendor can actually do the job

I was quoted for roof cleaning and adding bird proof around my solar panels. Can't fault the roof cleaning. However, on the day Karl said the items he needed to do the bird proofing had not arrived and he would return on the Friday. On Friday I texted and then had to call Carl as he had not confirmed the Friday. I was told he had problems with tools and could he arrange another day. I left contacting Karl for a week as he had not come back to me and Friday 29 April I contacted him again at 7.15am and this time I got a reply 6.12pm saying he was sorry but he now did not have the confidence to fit the bird proofing without a cherry picker. So 3 different excuses and I am now left with finding an alternative vendor to install bird proofing. I should have know it was not Karls intention to fit the bird proofing as soon as he told me his second excuse. I would not recommend this business and it is unreliable and fairly expensive
