Vanessa Alexander holds a First Class Honours Degree in Modern Language Studies. She has 18 years' experience tutoring in Spanish and French. Initially she studied at the Institut Français in London and sat exams from the University of Sorbonne In Paris. She lived and worked in Cannes in the South of France and later spent over 10 years in Spain, returning to the UK in 2009. In addition to helping students either with cramming or to excel at their GCSE, IGCSE and A level exams, she tutors business individuals and adults wishing to learn, improve or sit exams in Spanish and French for personal, leisure or business reasons. Both languages are taught from beginner to advanced level. Lessons are conducted in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere face to face in Cheltenham or remotely via Skype, also a popular option for those further away or in other countries. Lessons in the student's place of work or home within Cheltenham incur an extra fee for travel time. Vanessa is a DBS certificate holder.

1 to 1 French Lessons
5Each lesson has a good structure but also plenty of variety to keep things interesting. Her teaching style of encouragement, confidence boosting and empowerment makes for the ideal learning environment.
Making use of the 1-1 sessions and also the homework she has been setting me I can't recommend her highly enough.
