Unethical and unjustified death of a beloved pet1
I was not asked to give a PMH (past medical history). As a pet owner no PMH, no treatment plan nor choice was explained to me .
The vet was cold . I have witnesses of the event.
The practice manager was rude and cut the telephone line off.
I'm now grieving for my beloved pet.
They have no lounge to cater for owners who can be seated comfortably . We were made to stand in a clinical room with no chairs .
I cannot address this enough to inform all pet owners that you must be able to give a personal medical history and choice of investigations plus written treatment plan. The vet omitted this and was very cold.
A most appalling experience we will never forget.
