Poppy's Place Dog & Cat Grooming

Took my ragdoll cat to be groomed and clipped and I’m over the moon with the results. The owner Julia went above and beyond not only to get rid of all her matts and a good groom but she was so gentle with her and put her at ease but also showed me the correct way to do things. She’s clearly a very experienced lady with a lot of passion. The only person I’d trust to groom my cat.

Amazing service put my antisocial 8 years old DLH cat Lleucu at ease. I was able to stay & watch as they rid Lleucu of years old mats paying her so much attention & giving her all the tickles & reassurance throughout whilst conducting a proffesional service. I would highly reccomend them & will definitely be returning. Also gave me all the advice I needed to ensure Lleucu doesnt get into the same state. A warm welcome awaits any furbaby who attends. Extremly pleased happy furbaby mother.

I have two lively, fun loving cockerpoos that I take to Poppy’s Place - I don’t want show dogs, I want dogs that have fun and swim and run and basically get in a state, I have 100% trust in all the staff at Poppy’s and understand that every few months Dotty and Olive need to be clipped within an inch of their doggies lives just to get rid of the matts and twists that fun has created - sometimes I go and I’m only charged half of what I expected to pay - I never ever go and think they are just after my money - like other grooming parlours I’ve been too - they all honestly do what is the kindest and best for the dogs - don’t hesitate to take your dogs for grooming - you will get fun, professional care and service for the things that mean the world to you - I wouldn’t go anywhere else - thank you all for the great service you do - I will just add…… it sounds like I’m on commission, I’m honestly not - just over the moon of what they do for my two girls

I took my Persian kitten to be groomed at Poppy’s Place today and was more than pleasantly surprised. Julia the owner with her team Sarah & Corey provided a warm welcome. Julia’s knowledge, passion and extensive experience with cats & dogs was very evident. The love & care they give all felines and pooches is wonderful. Julia’s guidance & support ref: the care & grooming of pets is amazing. She explains everything & shows you how to do things in the correct way. Providing direct advice with the love & passion she has for all animals. I thoroughly recommend this fabulous company and will certainly be going back to continue the grooming and care for my Persian, Rain. A huge thank you to Julia & her lovely team. It makes such a difference when you can relax & trust you & your pet are in good hands.

I took my cat to be groomed and clipped, she was nervous and the girls were really patient with her, calming her and waiting until she was settled to start grooming. They were so quick and efficient, Alley cat didn't even flinch when they got the clippers out. Beautiful job, she looks so clean and tidy.
