Fantastic place beautiful rooms for functions great staff

I had a party at this venue and the staff seemed lovely whilst booking and taking money - when it actually came to the day of the party, the whole set up was a complete shambles. Not enough chairs as promised and the venue is dangerous due to dark curtains being pulled over the squash courts, I knew about an accident that happened at a previous party where someone had fallen down the stairs to the squash courts due to inadequate safety precautions being carried out - I mentioned this when booking and was assured that there would be additional safety measures put in place and the holes would be covered - but this did not happen and my niece stepped backwards not realizing that there was a hole and fell down with her baby daughter in her arms!!! No-one at the venue was interested apart from we couldn't turn the lights down due to the accident (instead of covering the holes up) and so the whole atmosphere of the party was tainted. They said the room would hold 250 people which it didn't.
