Poor knowledge of boilers & poor communication

Called PH Gas engineer to look in to my boiler's issue of not powering up. The guy came and opened the boiler cover and quickly told that the boiler's PCB is gone and needs a new one. He did not even checked if the power is coming till the PCB. He then demanded the call out charges even though the yell ad says zero call out charges. He said that the zero call out charge is only to give quotes for new installations !!! That is very bad communication and I felt like cheated. As I was suspicious of this guys knowledge of boilers I called another engineer of another company. That persons checked all the parts of the boiler and correctly identified that the boiler pump is gone and it caused the boiler power shutdown. After replacing the pump, the boiler is up and running. So there is no issue with the PCB. In summary - I paid call out charge to PHGas for their wrong diagnosis.
