Not an immediate emergency as I was able to stop the 'flood', but incident covered from Home Emergency Insurance. I was happy with next morning appointment (about 24 hours after discovering the incident).
Professional and pleasant guys attended a broken Toilet/Cistern joint that had come apart and flooded the Bathroom floor and damaged Floor Tiles. Identified the issue, replaced the faulty joint and replaced a leaking mains Inlet Valve. Explained everything, tidy and clean.
Sound job that took about an hour and I could not have tackled at my age.

Radiator Leak

Plumbcare came out to fix a radiator leak, covered by my home insurer.
Plumbcare responded quickly and courteously and sorted out an appointment for the engineer, Jordan to sort the issue.
I was continually updated as to arrival time given opportunity to provide further details if required.
Jordan arrived promptly, assessed the issue and fixed the problem and went further with advice on options to prevent further potential issues that may affect the system.
Throughout his visit, Jordan was professional, polite and informative of the work being undertaken. An excellent ambassador for the company.
As with my previous dealings with Plumbcare either dealing with emergency call outs or annual central heating service, I have found there to be an extremely high level of professional diligence that leaves me confident and with peace of mind that work is undertaken to the highest standards.

Home emergency cover

Absolutely shambolic service. Had dealings with this company through insurers before due to a previous leak and that didn’t end well either. Home emergency cover appointment made and advised a plumber would arrive before 7pm the same day. Plumber called at 11pm to advise he was 30 mins away from our home. Needless to say we arranged and paid for someone local who we could trust to attend. Avoid at all costs.

Waste of time

Wish i could put 0 stars! They are a waste of time, they don't even know what they are doing and charge over the odds for a service which they do not provide. Wrong parts ordered which requires more visits and more money. They don't care about leaving people with no heating or hot water. Go else where and do not use this useless company.

Lies, Delays, Misdiagnosis etc

My experience with Plumbcare was horrendous - I was without heating & hot water for 17 days. Emergencies are not dealt with the same day, appointments are whole day appointments meaning cancelling work etc. In my case the fault was misdiagnosed & wrong parts ordered. New parts were ordered & received but Plumbcare said a weekend visit wasn’t possible. I asked to be prioritised as I had been without heating & hot water for several days & their engineer had ordered the wrong part but was told by an uncaring member of staff that hundreds were in the same position!! On the day that the new parts were available the engineer DIDN’T TURN UP. The next day I received a call at 7.45 am to say an engineer would arrive shortly - over 3 hours later he came. Extremely poor service - Lies have been told & little effort was made to sort out my problem. A stressful situation was made worse by Plumbcare’s total inefficiency. I am still waiting for a reply to my email sent on 2 Nov.
