Everything planet windows touches turns to mould! We had 2 doors, 3 windows and bi-fold doors fitted over 2 years ago. The problems caused by the fitting of their doors and windows is ridiculous. They did not seal the windows and doors so moisture gets through and every thing they fitted gets mould around it. We have asked them to come out so many times which they have eventually, but they've not finished the job. We've got to the point now where we are just going to seal them ourselves, and live with the wonky bent doors! We have since had the rest of our windows replaced by mirage windows and doors, and what a difference. Friendly, reliable company, who actually know how to fit windows and don't send incompetent people out! Never mind the fact they leave pieces of wood with nails sticking upwards which I nearly stood on whilst holding my 4 month old baby after they'd left the property. So if you are looking for new windows avoid planet windows at all costs and go to mirage windows.

We purchased a conservatory a few years ago and within 12 months it was leaking in. One of the windows was also full of condensation. I contacted Planet and they came out and replaced the window glass and resealed outside of the conservatory. It still leaked in and when I contacted them again they refused to help. I have paid for another UPVC specialist to repair the conservatory who said that it has not been sealed correctly and trims have been either been missing altogether or of a poor quality allowing water to leak in through the windows and frames. Really poor quality and customer service. Would absolutely not use again.

Recently had a full house of aluminium windows and bi folding doors installed by Planet. i couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The fitters were tidy and friendly and office staff always very helpful with any concerns I had.

Very poor customer service and communication. Conservatory is still under warranty however we have an ongoing leak which has damaged the interior. Numerous attempts at repairs have not been succesful and no effort has been made by Planet to complete the job in full. We keep having to chase them up for action but the response from the customer service representative is poor and his disinterest is far too apparent.

We had windows and doors fitted by planet. We would of been better off sticking to our old ones. A draft comes through every single window and door, one bedroom is particularly bad. When contacted they came out and implied I was lying as the "black marks on the frame wouldn't be there if the rubbers didn't shut tight" A broken door had to be fixed ourselves as well as the they would be charging £150. A job we did for £28. A disgraceful company with very poor customer service, they clearly aren't too bothered that folk sit in draughty houses so long as their bill is paid!! Never again would I use them, I am planning to replace the windows with another company rather than get them fixed with the warranty which just goes to show how terrible they are to deal with.
