In short, Pinetree Cars failed in their duty to notify us of damage and a fault with a vehicle we bought from them, didn’t carry out agreed work before pickup, tried to claim that we caused damage to the bumper and brake light, and when proven wrong, inferred we had caused a faulty clutch as well (within 2 week of owning the car and driving it less than 80 miles). They then prevented us from proving the issues were present at sale and had the gall to suggest that there was nothing wrong with the car and that we were just experiencing "buyers remorse" when we notified them we were rejecting it. We informed them of their duty to disclose the damage and the fault to a buyer before sale, but at no point did they acknowledge that they were obliged to do this. We experienced unfair sales practices and poor aftersales care in our dealings with them.

We bought a car there last week. I have taken the car for it first valet (as it wasn’t as clean I thought it would of been) only to find that when removing the mat there is a massive hole in the drivers side(footwell) that was covered when buying the car with paper , we have gone there today to show the problem the attitude and after care from the two men who were sat in the office was absolutely disgusting rob (one of the sales men) then said if the valeting team or one of us had seen this hole all we would of done is super glued the mat to the carpet they then went on to offer us mats to cover this hole instead of fixing this issue

Would give zero stars if possible! Absolutely disgusting service. Bought a car with them in March (and spent a fairly reasonable amount) for the wipers to stop working and took them 2 months to deal with the issue. Once the car was taken in to fix it, they smashed the windscreen so is not legal or safe to even drive. Obviously when collecting the car we stated that they needed to fix it and are completely denying any fault. DO NOT USE THEM

i had a RCZ from pine tree in sep 2017 had endless problems with it after taking it back about 10 times for different problems the car was handed back to in with the engine management lite on and was told thy will not reaper it as thy have already spent money on it thy offer you a 3 mouths warranty in order to get you to pay for a extended warranty dont do this as by law you have a 6 mouth warranty and thy dont tell you that i have sent in two letters and thy have not even had the courtesy to even reply so i'm now taking them to court for may money back there was also a trading standards guy who called me to say he had told them to call me to sort it out and still no call but this guy only deals with criminal problems so as he was in pine-tree cars that day it just gos to show what a company thy are my advice to anyone is stay well away from them as there customer service is appalling and from what i am hearing have a very bad reputation
