A quality late Victorian Chaise Longue circa 1885, fully restored by us. All covering was stripped away and the frame clamped and re-glued. The mahogany wood work was then stripped to the bare wood, stained (to customers choice) and then french polished. It was then traditionally re-upholstered.

Truly excellent service. Some of our own pieces repaired and a new (to us) chair bought. Would definitely go again.

Furniture to treasure

5
We have dealt with Pilgrims Progress for over twenty years and both bought furniture and had pieces of our own upholstered and French polished. The workmanship is second to none, the upholstery beautifully finished and the French polishing has been excellent. The premises offer rewards for those searching for lovely pieces of furniture to buy or to have renovated at reasonable rates. Very thoroughly recommended indeed.

Restored to a delight

5
We called to the warehouse and were quite surprised at the range and amount of furniture we could choose from. We chose a small upholstered chair and Selwyn advised us on the possibilities of colours and finishes. We looked at his pattern books and received further help with picking the covering material. We now have a delightfully restored chair in our living room which is much admired.
Much thanks to the 'team'
