Piano and music theory lessons for all ages.
Learning a musical instrument can be a source of satisfaction and fun that everyone should have the opportunity to experience! In my twenty years of teaching, I have tried to pass that on to all my pupils, giving them the skills they need to play the piano with confidence and enjoyment.
Exams are not a necessity for learning and enjoying music, and not all of my pupils will sit them. For those who enjoy working towards that kind of goal, and the challenge exams can provide, I use the ABRSM exam board.
Lessons are offered on a weekly basis. I teach throughout the year, and am available for lessons through most school holidays. Ask for Anne to arrange a suitable time slot.

Fees as of September 2022 are £14 per half hour.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson. The full lesson fee is due of any lesson cancelled within this period. Please give as much notice as you can, since this gives us the opportunity to reschedule the lesson where possible.

her patience & ability to communicate with children notably stands out.
Our daughter has been reinvigorated in her love for piano since Anne took over as a tutor.
It ought to go without saying, but you must be very careful in who you would seek to employ to teach your child.
Here you have an individual who has the mindset & aptitude to communicate with a young mind
she is precise and thorough & her knowledge & skill levels as a pianist are excellent
& more importantly her ability to share and teach what she knows is clearly evident in a child progress,
with first hand knowledge of the varying degrees of piano tutors in Ayr,
we could honestly say you would be fortunate to be able to secure her services.
