Phillipa the Doula

Phillipa the doula is a birth, postnatal, overnight and loss doula covering primarily the Birmingham and Solihull area. I offer a range of packages designed to cater to a range of needs ensuring you feel confident, relaxed, held, well informed, in control, prepared and excited not just about the arrival of your baby but the process of birth itself! I offer emotional, practical and advocacy support to parents, parents to be and their supporters as well as those experiencing the pain and grief of loss (miscarriage and abortion). I do not offer medical advice and the choices will be yours the whole way, I trust you and your baby and I trust physiology, but together we can navigate evidence, information, intuition to enable you to make the most informed decisions that feel safe for you and your baby. Doula care has evidenced benefits and provides you with continuity of carer for as much of your journey as you want it. No matter how tentative or unsure you might be about hiring a doula I would welcome a conversation with no pressure and no obligation.
