The new NHS Electronic Prescription Service means that Peterlee Pharmacy can Order, Dispense and Deliver your repeat prescription – so you won't have to brave bad weather, wait for buses, find a space to park or rely on someone else for help. If you receive repeat medication prescribed by your GP, our Express Prescription Service could make your life a lot easier.

Your Medicines Delivered FREE to your door

The NHS Electronic Prescription Service allows doctors to send prescriptions direct to us at Peterlee Pharmacy. Working with your GP, we'll take care of everything to get your medication delivered – at no extra cost – to your chosen address or a family member/neighbour. And the whole service is always FREE!

How does it work - As Simple as 1 – 2 – 3

Once you have registered with us, repeat prescriptions are easy:

1. Prescription ordered - We email, text or phone to remind you your prescription is due and you simply confirm what you would like to order. Or, If you prefer, simply phone us or order online at any time.

2. Prescription Received - We arrange your prescription with your doctor and it is sent directly to us.

3. Medicines Delivered - Our pharmacist checks and dispenses your prescription, and your medicines are then delivered free to your chosen deliver address. Our pharmacist has been Awarded Sunderand Echo's Pharmacist of the Year 2017/18 so you know you are getting a high quality service.

A FREE reminder service

No more worrying about running out of medicines. With our free reminder service we'll contact you by phone or email to inform you that your repeat prescription is due. This service is very popular with a lot of our customers. Remember you can order your prescription by phone or email any time and have you prescription delivered to your chosen address.
