AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We had a surveyor come round to our home, which resulted in a quote for some damp proof course. The work was eventually done over two days and we were happy. There was a bit of time having the follow-up assessment, but when it was finally completed, we were told that the wall was ready to be repainted. In the months following, the damp has returned in the exact same spots they were before...
It has been almost a year since the work was completed and Peter Cox have ignored the majority of our emails. The work cost over £2,000. We have managed to speak to Customer Service on a number of occasions on the phone, no conclusions, no follow-ups. The Surveyor has now been to our house a total of three times. He forgot he carried out the first survey! We contacted them again, they sent a technician to perform a small patch on a window, but following contact from us again, he has ignored us.
To summarize; we feel as though thousands of pounds worth of our money has been stolen.

The Trustpilot score is 4.4 not 4.7, so presumably reviews have been getting more critical. And I'm not surprised. The survey I paid for was - in my opinion, poor; the report was sent many week later after i chased it. Head office acknowledged 'poor communication' and said they spoke to the surveyor. They offered a derisory £100 refund, which I have refused. I am taking legal action against Peter Cox and could not recommend the company or Rentokil, their parent company, to anyone.

Dave and Ollie

Today I had this firm come to treat the mould I had in my kitchen. The two men named Dave and Ollie were so nice and understanding. They removed the wall decorations and replaced them plus blind. Nothing was too much trouble the work was finished and excellent.
