Pet Vet

A zero star option is definitely required for this place! Our family dog had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks ago and no one was allowed to be present whilst it took place! He had been apart of our family for 13 and a half years and was left alone in his final moments with a stranger! And your reason was because of covid! You guys should be disgusted with yourselves….we will never use this place again all of our other animals have been transferred away.

If I could give no stars to this practice I would.
I brought my sister & niece (who don’t drive) with an extremely poorly dog who is 13 years old and a much loved family member. They were made to stand outside during rush hour only to be told by the vet there was nothing they could do and she needed to be put to sleep. When I asked if they could be present with their dog I was told no! (Due to covid rules!) the vet asked if we had a vehicle and agreed to sedate the dog so that they could sit in the car with her whilst she fell asleep. There were other patients stood around outside too!
The vet came and took the dog and went to euthanise her in the surgery.
I have never witnessed such a heartbreaking and humiliating experience and so thankful that I don’t have a surgery like this for my beloved animals.
What covid rules???? Absolute nonsense and I have contacted the practice manager who was like a wetwipe! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

If I could leave no stars, I would. I would not recommend this vets at all. My husband took her for her second vaccination booster where there had been no issues at her first, and they said they had a note on the system to say she was aggressive, and muzzled our cat.Our cat is NOT aggressive, and no compassion was shown to an obviously nervous cat.We yesterday took her back for her next vaccination booster,she was nervous again,and the 'vet' Monique put on a leather glove, instructed my husband to also do so,and guided our cat into a cage which pinned her against one side,making her terrified.Monique then commented we had 'a tiger there',to which my husband replied the only time she displays any of these behaviours is at the vets,and she is perfect with our 2 year old,Monique then replied that we should be careful with a 'cat like that' around our daughter.I'm not sure what qualification she has to comment on our parenting when she has no animal or people skills.Will not return.

A big thank you for all you are doing for our little girl Suzi, it just confirms our opinion that this is a veterinary practice with high standards.
