Pet Station

Ignore the review that says "ignore the bad reviews", it may not be impartial. I've posted a bad review for genuine reasons and they were taken down three times as being "malicious". They weren't malicious, they were truthful. I've had indifferent service in the past, but on this occasion I bought a heat lamp for a vivarium which lasted 2 weeks before failing. I phoned and was told there was a no returns policy without a receipt, despite the box clearly showing that it had been bought from them and me having a bank statement showing when it was purchased showing the exact amount. Not only was I told there was a no returns policy , but I was treated with sarcasm and rudeness. I bought a replacement, but not from them. I went instead to a nearby competitor who was both more professional, helpful and courteous. I shall never buy anything from Pet Station again - I'd rather travel to Sheffield or Barnsley.

Ignore the 3 bad reviews which can only be described as malicious.
I've been buying from Pet Station for years and can't fault them.

I don't understand the first 3 bad reviews to this business? . For a start it is not in Sheffield. Its in Parkgate Rotherham. There has to be a mistake. I buy my cat litter at a reasonable price and it is delivered. Both Paul and Nick have always been helpful and approachable . We have also visited the shop and found it clean tidy and well stocked . As an animal lover I would be the first to complain about any negligence and have seen nothing .

Terrible customer service and overcrowded fish tanks, most fish look unwell

This is possibly the worst pet shop in Sheffield, please do not give them your money. They over stock the fish tanks, when I went in earlier there were literally dead fish on the floor which hadn’t been cleaned up. Furthermore I went in to buy 4 discus fish, anyone who keeps fish know these are slightly more difficult than normal fish, first of all upon purchase they stuffed all 4 quite large delicate fish into the same small bag as eachother, first big mistake, when I got them home I noticed that the fish had some white spots on the side and by morning they were all dead. I rang the shop to ask for a refund as I’m an experienced fish keeper and I knew loosing 4 fish in 12 hours is not something that would be ‘my fault’ the store refused straight up to listen to me, said it’s my fault and sent me on my way nearly £200 out of pocket after the fish died.
