At Pet Au Pair we offer a trustworthy, fully insured service that can assist you with all the daily needs your pet requires.

My name is Holly Thorman and I set up Pet Au Pair in 2000.

I consider myself to be a nanny like service, to your fur-babies. I offer dog walking and we do morning/midday and early afternoon walks, I also have my own private enclosed field, to offer a daycare service.

We have CTTV/Tracked vans for pickup and drop off, with custom made crates for safety and beds to make travelling to our outdoor adventures very comfortable for all. We also have showers facilities to make sure dogs are returned home clean. We walk in small friendly groups and go exploring on the most wonderland woodland walks. We are fully insured and offer a free meet and greet.

We have a 21 month old cockapoo (Teddy) but because he will chase leaves he cannot be let off lead, unless in a secure area.
Pet au pair having a secure area so it was ideal as our teddy could enjoy meeting other dogs off lead and enjoy being a dog.
I have found that Holly (the owner) is truly a dog whisperer. I purchased a new collar for teddy but after only one week it jammed and trying to remove it was impossible but when I explained to holly what happened ( and told her I would have to take him to a vet and get him sedated ) Holly asked for some scissors and calmed Teddy down and cut off the collar and put his other collar on.
Julie who also picks up Teddy is really good taking him out and making teddy’s day fun.
When teddy comes back he very quickly goes to sleep

Our dog loves his walks and pet au pair nannies. We have been a customer for around 18 months now and couldn't imagine using anyone else. The team are very trustworthy, helpful and flexible and will always help you out. Our dog needs plenty exercise due to his energetic breed and he always comes back home a happy tired dog. As a working dog breed he can be rather challenging at times due to high energy and I had always worried about finding a walker but pet au pair have made it so enjoyable for him and us! Other businesses in the past made it seem like he was badly behaved whereas pet au pair recognise that different breeds and dogs have different needs. Thank you for all your help.

Absolutely Fabulous!

You can’t ask for more from Pet Au Pair. Reliable and friendly. Good price. My two spaniels have been going for over a year now, and they absolutely love it. They’re out of the house for a good two or three hours, sometimes even longer, get stacks of exercise and interaction with other dogs. They are absolutely knackered when they get back. Social media presence is good too, plenty of photos in their private group for you to save and treasure. Highly recommended.

My dog loves spending the day with her friends

Amazing service. My dog has been going out with pet au pair since she was about 5-months old and she loves it. She gets so excited when the van turns up as she loves going out and playing with all her friends (human and furry variety). I know she is in safe and caring hands. Despite loving muddy puddles, she always comes back clean. Can’t recommend enough!
