Performance Preparation Academy

Founded by Louise Pieri in 2010, PPA Kids is an independently run theatre school in the heart of Guildford. We pride ourselves on the family atmosphere we bring to the school, whilst focusing on the needs of the students when training them in dance, singing and acting.

School

PPA Kids provides classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre for all abilities, each Saturday during term time and Wednesdays for those that want to take their training a little more seriously. Our staff are all professionally trained performers working within the industry.

Exams & Qualifications

Our students have the opportunity to be entered for examinations in all disciplines via nationally recognised boards such as the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). PPA is also a registered centre for Trinity College London Examinations

Performances

Our students take part in an annual summer production at the Electric Theatre as well as opportunities to take part in Surrey based dance competitions and many other performing opportunities that arise throughout the year.

Agency

Our students can audition for our agency if they chose, to be considered for roles in Musical Theatre, plays, television and commercials. We also have children in many local pantomimes each year including The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.
