Perfect Stitch

Took my old Barbour jacket in for elbow pads and a couple of vents needed some small stitches to hold them from flapping about. Lady waffled and deflected the whole job, Too difficult, we don't do patches, no hand SEWING! - we only use sewing machines! etc etc. She finally priced me totally out of the shop with a ridiculous and insulting quote of 65-70 pounds!

Undeterred..

Went to Westerhope, Snazzy's dry cleaners, they told me they'd do the whole thing for 20 pounds including the leather patches! No drama, no dodging work, fair price, lovely ladies going to take them a box of milk tray Wednesday when the jacket's ready..

Perfect stitch?

Perfect stitch-up if you ask me, they need to remove half of their list of things they say the do at their shop. (They include jacket alterations and repairs..) Don't visit them, they're rubbish and lazy and very, very greedy.
