Unprofessional Seamstress

Unfortunately I had various issues with Perfect Fit and the owner in particular during my wedding dress alterations.

At the beginning and during the process of my dress alterations, Hazel provided me with the same estimate and quote.

However at the finial appointment I was shocked to see that my quote had risen by nearly 20% with no update or call to advise that the hours required had increased. Hazel then continued to gaslight and lie about providing a quote at either stage despite having discussed it openly with me and my party.

When asked for a breakdown of work, Hazel was unable to provide an updated document/receipt of work and instead advised that they work in hours. Which is fine, but the question is how those hours are spent. Example did they spend an hour hemming the dress or five?

The process was shaky, whilst a dress does take some time, the parts in between were horrifying.

Overall the professionalism and quality of service left a lot to be desired.

Absolutely fabulous service. Cannot fault the seamstress. She altered three of my favourite skirts and they all came out perfectly. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Suit Jacket Alteration

I needed a suit jacket altered as it was too large. Not only did they do it extremely well, they also did it for half the price that I'd been quoted from other tailors. The staff are pleasant and thoughtful as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

What a find!

For years, I've been irritated by the failure of so-called quality retail stores to provide clothes that fit. I've been 31" waist, 31" leg all my life but for ages this once-standard fitting has been missing. A major gents' outfitter even told me to "forget it" -- a 32" waist that was the dominant median 30 years ago is now 38". So, with more hope than expectation, I popped into Perfect Fit, since, as a pipe-smoker frequenting Miss Moran's and a long-time shopper at McMaster's hardware store, I am often in Church Lane -- perhaps my favourite street in Belfast.
I left in two pairs of trousers with the simple statement: 31 waist, 31 leg.
What joy! Trousers that neither pinch nor slip nor hang around the ankles! Not only that -- the most pleasant and understanding staff for a customer of a certain age when, I imagine, most of their clientele must be fashion-conscious young women -- and prices that are too modest!

Last Minute Alteration

I rang Perfect Fit at the last minute to get a suit jacket and troussers altered for the same day, not holding out hope that it could be done ! Fortunately the staff managed to get it sorted in no time whatsoever and have done a perfect job ! Would highly recommend and will be back !
