Peppercorn is a large specialist cookshop, established in 1987. It is located in King Street Llandeilo, a small country town in West Wales, 25 miles from Swansea. The shop occupies a Grade 2 listed building of great character and charm. Many of the original fixtures and fittings dating from the late 1800's remain and these help to make this extremely well-stock shop a fascinating place to visit.

Stay clear - awful service
1We would never recommend this store to anyone - the snobby, rude attitude of the server was horrendous and I would not want to be the reason for anyone else having to ensure it!! Stay well clear and spend your money elsewhere
Great shopping experience!
5Up-market kitchen shop
5On one occasion when something broke (a spot weld on a coffee maker) they smoothly arranged a replacement without question, and in general the staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit if you're passionate about food and cooking, or are seeking a gift for another such person.
Very Poor Customer Service
1One week later called to check that everything was in order only to be told that item was out of stock. They hadn't bothered to let me know, Very poor,
Phoned them and they were rude and arrogant. Lousy customer service.
Now too late to order replacement. Apparently just because it shows as in stock on their internet shop doesn't mean they actually have it.
Very disappointed and wouldn't use again. If you do use them I'd recommend calling to check they actually have the item.
Wish I had used Ebay now. Buyer beware!

Sometimes during the Christmas period stock levels can get low however we now have a new internet system in place which will greatly improve this aspect of our online store.
I am also very surprised to here you found the member of staff rude and arrogant on the phone. I have never received a comment regarding this before and I will make sure I speak to all staff to ensure this doesn't happen again.
