Don’t pay £99 reserve

1
Paid £99 on 27/11/2020 to reserve car but didn’t buy. It’s now over three weeks and it’s still not been reimbursed! Apparently they use a third party which takes ‘a few’ weeks to process & latest is give it another five days....Shocking customer service!

Poor

1
Vehicle went in as planned on booked date and time. Spent 2.5hrs wandering around awaiting an update. Nothing. Returned to find the vehicle had not been moved.
Was then told the vehicle would be with the garage potentially up to 5pm. No note of this was mentioned on booking or drop off.
Vehicle spent a further day and a half waiting on access to a ramp and a part.
On making the booking we asked how the charges would be covered as the vehicle is under warranty and we were told they garage would take these details and request payment.
This was not the case and we had to pay the £138 there.Once we had the vehicle back, we can see the new part to fix a minor fuel leak, but the leak has continued over the past few days. Not happy, three days out of my time, severe lack of communication, differing ideas of payment, and still dealing with a leak.
Now chasing a resolution that does not involve a further 3 days, two bus journey there and back as no courtesy car.
Once fixed we wont be back.

DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE BUYING CLICK AND COLLECT

1
DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE BUYING CLICK AND COLLECT FEATURE, WE ARE LEFT 2 WEEKS LATER WITH A MOUNTAIN OF STRESS, A CAR WE BOUGHT HAS A MAJOR GEARBOX FAULT ON THE FORECOURT AND CANNOT BE SOLD TO US AND THEN TO TOP IT OFF WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEIR SYSTEM TO REFUND OUR FULL BALANCE WHICH COULD TAKE 10 DAYS!! WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD.

Steer clear!

1
bought a car, 2.5 years old, 23,000 miles on the clock. less than 6 months and less than 3000 miles later, the brakes needed to be replaced. They eventually replaced them FOC with very bad grace. Then the warning lights started going on in cold weather and the car wouldn’t go above 40mph- very nerve wracking on a motorway! They investigated, reset the computer, found nothing. A week after its first MOT and an expensive service, this happened again. Another trip to the garage and they fixed it (can’t even remember what that was) then the clutch went and I had to be towed to the garage. They asked me to pay for a new master & slave parts for the clutch. I protested that with so few miles on the clock and it being just over 3 years old, this was ridiculous. Ford agreed to replace under the warranty. Less than 18 months later, the same parts have just had to be replaced. The car is a 2015 car with 35,000 miles on the clock! Not interested in why the clutch parts aren’t lasting. Awful!
