Hired 2 bikes, Chris and Dylan advised which would be best for what we wanted to do, set these up to suit each of us then clearly explained all the functions and how they worked. They made sure we were fully competent with there use and happy with everything and even gave advice on some routes for us to look at.Really friendly, professional and couldn’t do enough for you.first class customer service and a pleasure to deal with. My partner booked a few days in Lincoln for my 33rd birthday. Being an avid cyclist, she wanted to hire e-bikes to explore the City. However, with it being a Monday the shop wasn't open. My partner reached out to Chris and he enthusiastically offered to open the shop up just for us. When we met Chris he was extremely welcoming and thoroughly talked us through how to use his bikes. Chris also gave us so good recommendations on where to eat and drink, some we actually went to and they were well recommended. I cannot thank Chris enough for opening up despite it being a closed day for the shop, he helped make my birthday getaway a good one. The bikes were very easy to use, comfortable and made getting around the city and the high hills in particular, very easy.

The best test you can have of a shop is how it deals with situations where things have gone wrong.

I brought in a RandM bike, not bought from this shop, but where a problem, possibly with the gears, had developed.

With a new piece of diagnostic equipment bought specially from Rohloff, a fault in cycle's control box was correctly diagnosed with a replacement cost of something over £500.

After a careful reading of the Rohloff warranty I knew, even though I was the second owner of the cycle the Rohloff part should still be under guarantee (just!).

When PedalElectric contacted Rohloff, it categorically refused to honour the guarantee, and over a period of weeks, gave various reasons as to why this should be so.

It was only because of the tenacity of the shop in its many discussions with Rohloff that a successful outome was achieved.

Service like this to the customer is worth high praise.

When I first visited the showroom, i was given plenty of great impartial advice and an opportunity to try lots of bikes on the hills around the shop, before I made my final decision. They even delivered the bike to my house. A super experience from start to finish.

We purchased a Specialized bike and the service was outstanding! We finally found someone who was willing to spend time and listen to what we actually wanted as opposed to trying to sell us a bike that wasn’t suitable. I was encouraged to ride several bikes and even went on a bike ride with the iwner to ensure that the bike that I wanted was the right one for me. I have nothing but praise for this small, friendly and caring business. We travelled from London (a 3 hour drive) on 2 occasions to look at and buy the bike. We were told that my bike would be delivered in a certain time frame, and it was! This is testament to their integrity. Nothing less than 5 star service.
