Peace Of Mind Home Support was founded in 2010 by Mrs Shirley Gilbert and Mrs Carly Ellis. Both Mrs Gilbert and Mrs Ellis make up the 3 strong management team alongside Miss Carla Martin who is the companies Registered Manager.

The company was founded to provide individuals within our local community an alternative to large franchise Care Agencies or Care Homes by offering a small bespoke service. Our Management team hold a cumulative experience spanning 40 years within the Health and Social Care sector and all take an active role in the delivery of our services.

Peace of Mind Home support is registered with the CQC and received a “GOOD” overall rating during our last inspection.

I have been with Peace of Mind for 2 years. I have been asking not to have one particular Carer who is on the phone most of the time, I believe other clients have also requested not to have her . Also I recently reported to them that one of their carers Angie recommended her partner Adam Sayer to do work for me, once I had handed over over£3,000 he would not come back to finish the building and what he did do has no dampcourse and bi fold doors won’t open as roof bows with water. Peace of Mind were not interested in visiting me so I could show evidence so I reported the Carer to the CQC for safeguarding. I then received a two line letter from Peace of Mind giving me 10 working days to find alternative care. I was not asking for anything, just wanted to protect other vulnerable people from being taken in.
