Paws is a registered animal charity recently under new management and staffed by very friendly volunteers.
We sell almost everything! But mainly new and used sellable goods such as crockery, electrical, clothing, books, DVDs and toys donated by members of the lovely public.
We are closed at the moment but we can still accept donations please email us [email protected] and let us know, thankyou from the Paws team.

Poor Staff Culture

Staff who recently left told me she was the only one who really cared about display, tidiness, customer satisfaction etc. One staff almost threw himself at me with physical violence only for entering the shop. The staff said it angered him because it was already past 6pm (the opening time) yet the door to the shop were open and light on - just the regular open for business look. The man would not give me chance to walk out - I had to run away from his clearly ready to grab me and push me. Manageress would shout at me with anger - like in psychological abuse - when by accident I knocked one hanger of rail with shoulder. Recently Manageress banned my friend from the premises of the shop because she said "you are badmouthing me behind my back". threat to call Police and cause trouble. Honestly, my friend said that he never said bad word about the manageress, to the opposite - said good word.
I still donate to the charity there and than. I love animals.

The Manageress first name is Carol. The assault to throw me out of the shop premises was committed by staff volunteer David. The very good, positive and hardworking staff who left first name is Carla.
