Paul's Plaice

Called in here for a speedy take away months ago. My first mistake. Big shop, no clients. Asked for 3 small portions and shocked by inflated price, mentioned [gently] it was a bit steep. Third mistake. Red rag to bull moment, angry, defensive owner. I'll never come back here thought I. And as the take away was SO horrible - wet, slimy chips, soft slippery fish batter I was glad not to. Until this week, when my beloved popped in for a take away. Little did he know of my dealings with this fishy greasy spoon. It was on unwrapping the fodder that I was aware precisely where they had come from. We live 20 miles away with almost as many other establishments to choose from- but there was no hiding from the fact this was Pauls Plaice fodder. As awful as the first time, several months later. And as expensive. Really. Don't. Yuk.
