Great Teaching, Coaching and Facilities!

Our daughter has been swimming with PDS for 4 years now, she was exceptionally lucky to have the same instructor throughout the whole 1:1 4 years cycle. She recently moved into the squad and the team at PDS was extremely helpful in supporting her in this transition and has always been in the past whenever we had anything to report. They instructors are lovely and very sweet and our youngest has also started swimming with great enthusiasm and super quickly. The facilities are great. I would definitely recommend!

Thank you for your lovely review! It's been so wonderful to see the progress your daughter had made. She's a fantastic swimmer now. She should be very proud of herself!

Helpful friendly service!

I think that they are really helpful. I have had quick replies with email queries. There was an occasion that I had to change a lesson due to logistics. They were pretty flexible in arranging another class. I have had previous experience with another swimming company when they just said that you would just lose your money.

PDS = Brilliant

Paul Dillon's swimming club is best place to put your kids if your want them to learn to swim in a fun environment. The teachers are the amazing and so friendly and deal with problems so efficiently.
The progress some of the kids make in a term in phenomenal, having that 1 to 1 help really makes a difference. I would recommend this club to anyone that needs help learning to swim (including adults).

No structure and disinterested feedback

1
My child has being using the center for some time, and time and time again there are always issues. The biggest one being the constant change in instructors and the lack of communication with the parents of the child - this has being seconded by a number of other parents.

Coupled with this is the lack of structure in terms of building the child's ability to progress. The owners are not really that interested in individual issues and this is clearly evident with the number of people at any one session. The classes are so full that the mechanics of the lessons are similar to a production line.

I'm very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the lessons. Although we do work very hard to ensure continuity it's not always possible. The majority of our teachers have been with us for years, some for nearly a decade! But with a part-time workforce sometimes plans do change and new opportunities come up and of course teachers do get sick. We try to have at least two teachers spare for every time slot in order to ensure if a teacher is away more than once in a term, your child would then have the same replacement teacher. Children are assessed twice a term according to our award scheme criteria. As lessons run back to back, it's not always possible for teachers to give feedback at the pool but if parents get in touch with the office we can get a progress report from your child's teacher at any point in the term. Our lessons don't have a rigid structure, children are all different, therefore, lessons are tailored to the individual child.

my wife just came home with the biggest smile! our six year old who has never taken off his arm bands or let go of the side of any of the numerous pools we have taken him to, swam a hole length of back style within twenty minutes of his first lesson! big thumbs up!
