For eight years, I was a class teacher but for the past 22 years, I have been on supply. From 1972, I have taught privately, developing students' literacy and numeracy skills. This is followed by completing practice papers, illustrating examination technique. Aptitude in long writing tasks is developed. My clients are from different backgrounds, 3 yrs old to adults; some have special needs whilst others work towards specific targets. I specialise in SATs, 11+, Key Skills Qualification (Levels 1 & 2), GCSEs and the Professional Skills Test for Qualified Teacher Status Award. I have helped students with dissertations. Piano playing and music tuition are offered so that pupils can gain qualifications in practical and theory examinations but music can also be a leisure pursuit. I help students to find solutions to difficult areas, working in a fun way or studiously, according to their requirements. I consider education to be an opportunity for everyone to attain their full potential.
