Not hard to see why Panks has been in business for over a hundred years. Just rebuilt an old Americen Delco starter for me. Great job not only looks brand new ,performs like it to ! Staff a pleasure to be around . Great job great people.

Refuse to honour a guarantee

Two years ago, I bought a car battery that was acquired by my garage from Panks. It is now faulty but Panks will not honour the three year guarantee due to Covid and subsequent low milage.

Took my Dads car in to find / fix a drain on the system which had cased him to have a flat battery a few times. Left the car for a full day and overnight - picked it up the following morning job done - the communicated with me all the way through - superb service - thank you

Reading the reviews AFTER dropping my split screen off for some minor electrical work I was a little concerned as to how my day would pan out.
Shouldn't have been worried at all as it turns out that the staff were very helpful, gave great advise on top of the great service and all at a very reasonable price.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
