Paint by Dave

I’d use Paint by Dave for anything vehicle. I’ve had my Harley with them with a very difficult job and he matched and repaired the damage so it looks seamless. Really chuffed I’ve found this workshop.

I would highly recommend this body shop for competitive prices and a service that is very helpful.
I have used this service many times and have never been let down. Going above and beyond to get your vehicle back as swiftly as physically possible. I would definitely use this body shop again.

If you want a good job by a trustworthy firm, do NOT go to Paint by Dave or his son Dan. On initial collection of my car, I paid in full for the job on the basis that this was an act of trust that he would do a good job. This trust was misplaced.
I asked for two top coats. The resultant work showed only a limited blow over single coat to the extent that the primer could be seen through the top coat in many places. In addition to that there were significant areas that had not been painted at all and the primer was visible
The job was promised for five days – it took nearly six weeks in all with a myriad of excuses as to delays. Finally I had to personally collect the loose panels from the car.
Communications was poor with their phones not answered or the phones turned off.
I wrote to them and explained all my issues and invited a response. They have not replied.
Do not use this company

Really pleased with the service provided. It's a small family run business that's competitive and reliable.

Would definitely use again.
