Business overview

Paddocks Farm Rehabilitation - Pet Hydrotherapy (NARCH) and Equine and Pet Laser Therapy - with on site stabling. Small family livery with competition/holiday stabling/ livery.

We are a small combined business of rehabilitation for horses and small animals using K Laser therapy and small animal hydrotherapy. We have extensive stabling and equine facilities on site and also do mobile visits. There are some stables where we provide a flexible part/ full livery service for up to ten horses as permanent livery and we also offer short term stabling for over night stays for people competing at local competitions or for holidays. If you suddenly need emergency care for your horse whether it is convalescent care for the horse or because you are unable to care for him/her, give us a call.

The K laser therapy is available for horses, small animals and people and offers a drug free alternative way to reduce inflammation and pain by stimulating the body's natural healing processes to accelerate. It basically gets the cells, body tissues and bones to regenerate much faster than they usually do. This reduces swelling and speeds recovery. It is ideal for un-resolved lameness and has spectacular results with wounds and bruising.

Hydrotherapy is great for all forms of muscular skeletal problems, particularly hip or elbow dysplasia or arthritis where the water therapy enables muscle tone to develop whilst the animal exercises weightlessly. Older and ill dogs particularly benefit but we also have lots of young energetic dogs who come to swim for exercise, fitness and fun. Their owners love taking home a clean tired dog particularly on a wet, cold day. Owners who want to can swim with their dog but many prefer to watch from the side. One of our hydro-therapists will always be in the pool with your pet and where needed more.

Our highly qualified staff will liaise with your vet for you and many treatment costs can be claimed under pet insurance. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff who are all dedicated animal lovers who will treat your pet as if he/she were their own.

Dogs with medical conditions such as arthritis or recovering from injury will benefit from hydrotherapy. However older dogs will just enjoy exercising weightlessly in warm water. This will increase mobility, decrease pain and stiffness and build muscles, helping to keep your dog active.

We have good grazing with mares and geldings kept separately in small groups. Winter turnout is maintained whenever possible and we are also creating some all weather turnout areas for use in really persistent wet weather and snow.
Indoor stables are newly renovated with black and white painted walls and wooden doors.

The horse walker is being re-located outside so that the indoor school can be used for riding and lunging. New floodlights are being installed.
Horses enjoy the large boxes and we aim to help all horses relax and enjoy the calm atmosphere.

have been here on assisted livery since December. Paul, Geri and Beth are a great team and have made us all welcome. I have total confidence in leaving my horse with them on days I can't get there. The stables are great, our horse likes being in the barn with the others, and lots of turnout. really nice people and a calm atmosphere which is just what I want for my horse (and me!)

I bring my very nervous rescue dog for training and recreational swimming and cannot fault the place. Geri and Paul have helped him more than I ever thought possible. Really recommend the place as always have fun too.
