Finishing touches aren’t great

Im surprised at these reviews on yell. When we had our kitchen tiles, the service we had just doesn’t marry with these reviews. A lot of the tiles weren’t cut straight or even parallel. I wish I could post photos to show. There are chips in a couple of the tiles but it’s been filled in with grout. There is grout missing in some places. The silicon isn’t straight. We got Paul to come back to rectify some of these but even then the finish wasn’t great. I realise the black grout against white tiles isn’t forgiving but there are some very basic mistakes made.

Although the kitchen was wiped after the job, there was a mess in the garage, e.g. the broken tiles, grout bags, adhesive buckets were just left in a pile without separating them out. After scrubbing, I still can’t get the spots of adhesive off of the patio. There’s also black grout across the flower bed.

He agreed to price I gave him a date to commence, the walls were not great, plaster missing on the majority of walls, however, as a professional I gave this kitchen a superb finish, and of 40 years experience I was pleased with the final result. After finishing the works, I left the property in a clean and polished state as I always do. With regard to the debris and surplus tiles, I left them in his garage in a gorilla bucket, as he supplied the materials and is therefore his responsibility. I just wish people would tell me to my face, its as if they enjoy putting negative reviews.

Efficient, tidy and friendly. You cannot ask more of a tradesman. Turned up on time as he said and completed the work to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

Hi, just had Paul tile my bathroom, floor and walls, also installed underfloor heat mat. Nothing was an issue. He was very thorough and efficient. He did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him for future work. Thanks Paul.......

Paul recently tiled our bathroom, he did a great job. Kept the area clean and tidy while he worked. Really happy with the work, will be calling him back to tile our kitchen and most definitely would recommend him.
