FAWLTY TOWERS HAS NOTHING ON CHARNWOOD - AVOID!!
1Upon returning that night, just after 9pm, I started settling the kids down and getting Pj’s on. My 10 year old climbed the bunk beds to get on the top and the ladder was banging and the beds were literally swaying back and forth to the point I thought it would topple over!! Upon closer inspection, the ladder wasn’t attached with half the screws, the bed was rusty....literally RUSTY....and it had clearly not been put together correctly or that old - clearly should be condemned and certainly not for for purpose! This is before you get to the dirty/grubby bathmat on the floor, duvets on bunk bed smelling of fish and the stains on the double bedding.
Still waiting on a refund as promised by hotel!!
