Oxbys Recovery

Used this company to transport my vehicle and paid cash upon arrival. The guy assured me I'd receive and invoice which I needed for the insurance claim. After chasing and chasing it was clear they were not going to send one.

Told by garage I bought car off that the recovery guy had scratched the underside of my front bumper loading my car (which I have proof) and then my vehicle got dropped to it’s location with a flat battery.
Unsure what kind of recovery firm doesn’t have a booster pack ready or jump leads.
I was then charged for the added time for this and spoken down to over text message despite me trying my best to sort the issue (I was overseas).
Vehicle was jumped started and collected by myself a few days later and battery tested and vehicle has ran fine since so clearly something was left on/open on the car.
I was charged £75 for the extra time the driver was around however the payment bounced their side (Revolut) and my bank card got blocked.
I have purchased cars and had them collected numerous times and never dealt with a company like this before.
They also got one of my reviews amended to show 5 stars despite the one star I left also.

Classic car delivered to me today in the snow! Extra careful as it was lowered and friendly, great job all round really appreciate helping me out at such short notice. cheers again i will recommend to friends

What can I say, absolute legend recovered me over 200miles when no one else could, especially after another driver failed to appear, professional and isn't one to try and rip you off, gives a fair price and gets the job done 👍
