I try and have fish here very Friday. It is beautiful, freshly cooked to order. . Excellent chips and a whole hos tof other seafood delights as well as burger and chicken. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, lovely atmosphere.
Perfect lunch place.

We live in NW London and will do a detour on our way home from almost anywhere on the south coast to get dinner here. The chips are great, the sausages in batter are very tasty (proper sausages, not jumbos) and the fish is excellent.
Not cheap, but not definitely not overpriced.

We had 2 medium cod filits with one large chips and 2 tarta sauces for £14. The cod filets were so thin they were over cooked and the bater was hard. It was as though one filet was sliced length ways in half. We obviously had the dregs for chips. We had been once before and were not impressed so thought we would give them the benifit of the doubt. It was even worse so will never go again and do not understand what all the fuss is about as we also had to queue and wait 20 minutes. Maybe they can't handle the customers so the cooking and portions are compromised. One word dont bother.

Has to be the worst fish and chips I've had in years batter was bland chips were anaemic and the curry sauce was awful
