Orchid friendly: no way; Orchid integrity: no way.... used to work at wickford with another vet... there is only one who is a true avian vet and he is up north. He left me in a car park with a dying bird saying he will not see me simply because I closed the door on one of his friends....
Sent my cat there 2 weeks ago, they gave me him an injection of antibiotics and steroids in which they said should cure him. Went back 2 weeks later cat was still unwell and this time they asked me to do an x ray and remove one of his teeth as this may be the reason the cat is unwell. When my cat was left in their care for 5 hours he was not fed or given any water to drink. When I took him home he could not stand up and needed food and water. Shocked that he wasn't taken care of. 12 days later my cat was worse than what it was previously, took him back and was told to do another x ray or send to another specialist as they can't tell me what's wrong with him. Spent over £700 with them already and they still can't tell me what's wrong with him and now suggesting to see a specialist. Will not spend anymore money with them now taking him to diff vets
That also applies to my long succession of pet rats. Other vets euthanase or refuse to treat. William doesn't .He is up-to-date and gives you the advice you need.
Thank goodness he didn't move miles away.
The staff are very welcoming and competent.
There is also parking at front!
