Orchard Way Primary School

Welcome to Orchard Way. We are a one form entry primary school, with 210 children on roll, situated in a residential area of Shirley, Croydon. The School was built in 1969 and is a true community school, with many families passing through and going on to our local high schools.

The School has excellent facilities with spacious classrooms, a large hall, a separate dining room, a fully equipped ICT suite, and a library. The grounds consist of a large field, two playgrounds with climbing equipment, a quiet area, a basketball court, a Reception outdoor area and a wild life and pond area.

At Orchard Way we pride ourselves on our good behaviour, manners and consideration for others. Each child is encouraged to do their best and to succeed, both personally and academically. Attainment at the end of all key stages is consistently high and above the local authority average. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum with many different opportunities to promote all talents.
