Business overview

Educational workshops for ALL whether your at primary school, seniors, college or University, or working within in a youth setting or not, heightening awareness heightens change.

We educate children from year 4 all the way up to year 13 about substance abuse and the negative effects and dangers that come along with it. Our goal is for our educational speeches and workshops to spread awareness about substance misuse and to help individuals of all ages overcome situations where substances may be present. Our educational programme is also available to parents, guardians, staff and organisations throughout London, Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire.

Our engaging workshops allow all attendees to learn about drug and alcohol misuse, grooming and the crime implications therein. We also educate about common themes / trends and empower people to take a role that drives change not only for their futures, but others too - including their own children.

We have created unique projects which can work in small and large workshops and hope to encourage proactive, reactive and early intervention, whilst raising accurate awareness around the subject of substance misuse and it's associated crimes and lifestyles. We also facilitate an open door policy to ALL via confidential drop in services and one-to-one in schools. One Chance CIC predicts that there is a increasing link between criminal behaviour and substance misuse.

Our educational workshops and sessions are not just for children and parents, though. A huge part of what we do to mitigate the dangers of substance misuse is delivered via staff training sessions at schools and other organisations. This equips staff with high-level knowledge and vital mental tools to help detect the early signs of substance misuse. It also helps staff obtain a better understanding of current trends and how their roles can play a part in helping individuals avoid the dangers of substance misuse and criminal behaviour and nullify the use of stereotypes.
