We have establised a great reputation for our high level of service given to each and every bride. We only stock dresses by award winning UK top designers Amanda Wyatt Sophia Tolli & Alfred Angelo so you can rest assured your wedding gown is made to the highest of standards with the best fabrics and embellishments and you won't be let down on delivery times.

We provide an alterartion service in house and recommended alteration studio at another site all for your convenience.

Payment plans are available with a minimum deposit of £ 100.00 interest free.

We are open Monday - Saturday 9.30 - 5.00

Late night Thursday & occasional Sundays by appoiontment. Please call 0161 368 3613 for a no obligation stress free trying on session.

I rate Once Upon a Bride 'Outstanding' for it's customer service and products. After looking amongst millions of websites for the perfect dress for my perfect day, I finally found the perfect shop. The staff were welcoming, enthusiastic and understood exactly what I wanted. There was a small helper who made me a really nice cup of tea and I felt at home. There was a seamstress at the ready, who helped me alter my dress so it was the perfect fit. I am thoroughly looking forward to my big day, knowing how comfortable I will feel in such an amazing, dress for such a great price.

Spent two days in Manchester City Centre looking for a ball gown for a Dinner Dance, but found the exact style and colour I was looking for at Once upon a Bride in Hyde. I walked into the shop, feeling tired and deflated from traipsing around Manchester, with no success. The staff asked if I needed any help, I explained what I was looking for and they came out with the perfect dress, even down the colour and it was in the Sale. I needed some small alterations and I asked the seamstress for extra bling on my shoulder strap. I came out of the shop feeling great and excited about my new dress, because I know no one will have the same dress at the ball. Big Thanks to all the staff for all their help and advice.
