Bonkers place!
2We went for 12 dining chairs and came away with nothing as it’s just too bonkers to see anything. We asked a few prices as a gauge, i was surprised at the high costs, I think them very hopeful!
Loads of mid century teak at eye watering prices, 1/6th of the price on ebay if that’s your style. Some stalls displayed much neater and stall holders friendly but I can’t think who buys it but i suppose someone must, certainly wont be us. Won’t go again.
Fave!!!!
5Love it

Have you never heard the phrase once bitten twice-shy
(Obviously not) It's always a good idea to observe the sign on the building before you enter then you will know where you are OH and don't forget your magnet when buying non ferrous metals because next time will be the 3rd
Old Mill Antiques
1I'm not a dealer, or buying furniture in mass. I'm just a private buyer looking for a few second hand bargains to decorate my flat, rather than taking a trip down to my local Ikea.
This isn;t the place to go, but not due to a lack of stock.
I've taken a few few friends around this place and they've all gone in very excited, and left feeling very deflated.
I've never been greeted with a smile from any of the dealers and you're lucky if you're acknowledged when you walk in.
Despite the huge amount of stock you get the feeling that the dealers would prefer to horde everything rather than sell it for a reasonable price..
By the way everything is stacked you'd think you were in a junk shop rather than an antiques dealers.
If you pick up something that needs a bit of restoration work you'd normally expect this to be reflected in the price tag. Unfortunately, even damaged goods are massively overpriced.
It seems like you can call anything vintage these days and get away with sticking a whopping price tag on it, even if it's damaged or in need of TLC.
I've given this place enough chances to redeem itself but unfortunately I won't be going back again.
Couldn't agree more. These dealers are nothing but desperate...and it shows! :)
