WORST SERVICE EVER. I could write a book on this nightmare place but only few characters were left.
1I do not understand why people do not give value to reviews and still give business to these " extremely below standard" businesses.
here are some experiences.
1) Most of the Staff is untrained. They do not even bother to help (even if you ask)
3) you can not use toilets, because the toilets are extremely dirty, NO toilet rolls and water. When we specially asked for tissues from a staff member, It was told that its not their duty and we should ask someone in management. I specially approached a so called Manager was told that its the daily organising person's duty who is not available so can not help. imagine 1000 guests and most could not use a toilet. WAOOOO. imagine their worst management for basic requirements.
5) 1000+ guests & almost half seats were available rest were standing.
6) poorly managed food (almost cold)
7) few people got a plate of dessert and rest got almost one spoon of desserts.
Good sized venue - thats it! Rubbish management!!
1Nice sized venue to cater for big parties and good location (not residential) with on street parking available.
Negatives:
Was extremely disappointed with the service given - Very good sales pitch by management to get the hall hire and service hire and to seal the deal but did not live up to the standards offered.
Very poor service from staff on the night. Food tasting food was completely different experience to what was served on the night. As part of the package, was offered a freebie which was later found to be mistakenly given to the party before. No apology, and no discount offered and therefore party did not have the extra wow factor that should have been there. Dessert was not given proportionately - some guests only got a teaspoon full of dessert with a bit of ice cream. Wedding cake was not served to all staff. Staff very inexperienced.
Available room such as for brides but not done up - more of just a old office with a desk and table.
Expect the minimum customer service from management and catering/staff offered. Better to get a different reputable catering service. Requires floor management to make sure you get what you pay for and not staff skimping on food served to guests. Decorated room with wrong colour - guests were arriving whilst the colour was being changed. Management not willing to listen to the customers chair arrangement and argued to have their way. Later came round to what the customer wants. Very very disappointed with teh management and service given!! Later when trying to confront management, they require complaints in writing rather than having a face to face meeting like you have when initially enquiring about the venue!!. Always agree that if you are not happy with something or not given the things promised, what is the policy - such as money back/discounted price. Make sure everything you ask for or are told is given in writing and both parties sign. Broken promise - was also told that at the first anniversary, they would treat us to dinner - 3 years later am still waiting for that phone call!! Pack of lies from managment - cannot trust them and no customer service/after sales care.
Good for venue hire ONLY. Everything else not sold at face value.
You are so right. They still maintain the exact standard of their WORST EVER SERVICE.
