some dry rot outbreak can take affect quite rapidly as can be seen in this skirting only 9 month fitted, the fungus has spread up behind the plaster by 300mm and under the concrete floor
some cases where systems and been under specified is at risk from destructive salts and brake down can be unpleasant
Timber with moisture content above 22% can sustain timber decay, moisture content above 26% and rapid decay, over days and weeks depending on environment and timber type, these soft wood roof frames, rot can brake down repetitively rapidly
This is a Pink fire check plasterboard of a communal basement the excessive water vapour and lack of ventilation has deteriorated the board with some sections so sodden it has fallen from the ceiling, ventilation in this case can be achieved rather simply and cost effective

Lee and his team rectified a damp wall problem in my property. They did salt contamination treatment and re plastered the whole room. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge therefore having great confidence in their work. All queries that I had were answered promptly. The team were very friendly and considerate, making sure they kept the place tidy at the end of the day. I would highly recommend them and I will be certainly be using them again when needed.
