Terry O'Neill has been carrying out our gas servicing and landlord certifications for many years. He has also installed a new boiler and completed a wide range of plumbing works (e.g. header storage tanks). His work is always of the highest standard and his prices competitive. Over the years I have developed a deep trust in his judgement. Terry is also punctual which is required to work around a particular tenant's need. I fully recommend Terry and Son as plumbing and heating engineers.

I have used him twice now. Firstly for replacing a cylinder, Another plumber had told me to have a combi, and I knew the house was too big to cope. Terry told me exactly what I needed, came quickly and did a perfect job.
This time he came on the day I phoned him, diagnosed what needed to be done, ( I had running water sounds in the mains pipe) He returned a few days later, and sorted my problem out quickly and efficiently, and with the least possible disruption to my kitchen. I am extremely happy with the result.
As I said at the beginning it is such a relief to have found a plumber who is totally reliable, and available. I would certainly recommend him.

Terry has been servicing our gas appliances for a few years so when our boiler broke down just before Christmas 2019 we asked him to comment on repairability and to quote for replacement (we asked 2 other local plumbers as well, including a Which? Trusted Trader). All recommended replacement and Terry's quote was the most favourable for us. The job went exactly to Terry's estimated duration and he readily accommodated our requested changes without fuss or ado. He treated our house with the respect he would treat his own eg he ensured all our carpets were protected and there was no mess whatsoever. He arranged for the new boiler to come with a 10 year manufacturer warranty (which has been confirmed by the manufacturer directly to us). He worked solidly throughout the job and politely refused repeated offers of tea and biscuits! We would firmly recommend Terry, and he will continue to service our appliances.

What a pleasant surprise to have a professional, friendly, local engineer to install my new boiler. Mr O'Neill comes highly recommended and I must say I'm glad he did my install. He completed the works in a timely fashion and at the price quoted... and he didn't leave a mess or any rubbish afterwards.
