I really like it

5
I have been a member for 6 months. It is not cheap but I really like it. It's the only time in my life that I've managed to get regularly to a gym. I have a great PT named Megan, who puts up personalised programs on Trainerize each month and I can follow. The gym floor is well-equipped with loads of cardio and good free weights/benches/racks and machines. The pool is good and the kids can go most of the time. The outdoor pool is a delight - heated and misty in the colder months. It is several notches better than Marston Ferry gym.

Avoid!

1
It used to be good, but not anymore!
You think you are paying a premium to work out comfortably, enjoying the facilities from pools and machines at your convenience, far from the truth! They book the pool for St Edward school students a big chunk of the day, the steaming room and jacuzzi are often down and there are not enough pieces of equipment in the gym to avoid the breath over your neck counting your sets with you.
Customer service is ok at the reception and canteen but not on the floor. I got singled out in front of the whole gym for forgetting to put my weights back in a very rude manner. They don't do that to everybody though but I got singled out twice that morning, the tan probably didn't help!
I give the gym the generous parking and state of the art toilets and changing rooms, always clean, mirrors polished, dryers, you name it, it is there!

Terrible customer service/Unbothered rude receptionist

1
The receptionist is very rude. Unhappy with the customer service. Unprofessional staffing. I joined the gym when I was in London and I loved it, but when I moved to Oxford I used my membership in this branch and every time I go I wouldn’t be able to use my card. They said I have no profile picture and they are not willing to fix this issue because “the camera is broken and they don’t know when it will be fixed” receptionist responded. I might cancel my membership if this attitude carried on.

Lovely gym!

Although the customer service can be a bit snippy, overall the gym is amazing with a wide variety of exercises, as well as a spa and pools indoor and outdoor! Would definitely recommend. ❤️
