We are community interest company offering wood collection and recycling services to homes and businesses in Northants.

Northamptonshire Wood Recycling CIC operates a waste wood collection service for homes and businesses throughout Northants. We are proud of the fact that we offer a low cost alternative to skip hire. We collect various woods, timber, MDF, Pallets, sheet materials & furniture. We charge per cubic square yards so our collection teams load our 3.5t caged vans efficiently to reduce wasted space. Customers only pay for the wood we remove.

All the wood we collect is re-used, recycled or retailed. Our aim, as a social enterprise, is to reduce wood going to landfill and to increase employment.

Excellent place for bargains.

I’ve been here to buy wood 3 times now. Every time I got exactly what I needed at a very good price. They don’t have a huge selection but it is well worth a visit before the timber merchants.

Bad employment criteria

Applied for a job on 7 different occasions at the Kingsfield Close branch, and had 2 interviews.
In my second interview, I was told that they were unsure about me due to a knee problem I had but which I informed them was all good now. Never even bothered to get back to me to give me a simple yes or no. Apparently, this isn't classed as discrimination. As I write this review, on the 16th March 2020, they are advertising for the same job yet again because they can't find the right person for the job - maybe I was the right one, but was never even given a chance.
