First visit with my 13 year old daughter to get strings, strap, knobs, stand and tuner for my old base guitar that I was handing down to her. Friendly, helpful and polite service from the staff. Thank you.
Second visit a month later (same staff) with my daughter and 10 year old son to get him a new strap and some plectrums for his electric guitar and a set of drumsticks. Also to ask about the stand we had previously bought as it was faulty and keeps tipping over. It was as if we had walked into a different shop. Mainly the male owner was rude, unhelpful and abrasive. He refused to accept that the guitar stand was faulty in any way. He was then rude to my son about being in his way. At this point I decided we wouldn’t continue with any purchases, pointed out the error of his ways and left never to return. This has really upset my son so thank you.
I’m sure when he has to close through lake of custom he will blame the internet.

Bought a left handed guitar with an amp, strap, and metallica song book with a guitar stand. Outstanding service and were very friendly, good pricing and the owners were very helpful.

Recently needed a restring on my two guitars, he was able to do one the same day but the other, a 12 string, would take longer. I paid for both on the same day and would collect my 12 string the next week.
When I went to collect, I was asked to pay the remaining balance. Suprised, I checked my bank statement online and could prove that I had paid in full. I was accused of theft by the owners (having frankly overpaid for a simple service) and I eventually left the shop (after about 20 mins of arguing) incredibly distressed. It was explained to me by the assistant, Deano, who was excellent, that he could see I had paid but the new owner wasn't from a customer service background. He's apparently been there over a year, I can't imagine it takes more than 5 minutes to work out that you shouldn't accuse customers of theft because they refuse to pay a second time.
Truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I popped in for some guitar strings a tune up and a case. Both of the proprietors were friendly, warm and helpful. There was a calmness in the shop that made me want to stay longer! Great experience and I would recommend for all your music needs. See you next time!
